Villa Egretta

This was such a beautiful home and my family had a wonderful vacation! I have young children and this home was perfect, the kids loved it. This was my first time booking an AirBNB and now I'm hooked haha. Such a better experience than a hotel, and it wasn't what I thought at all. The home was perfect, it was so clean, and the pool is INCREDIBLE. Pete was a great host, very responsive, and he provided a ton of information before and during the stay. The home is equipped with binders and placards with clear, easy to follow instructions for everything in the house (nice automation features, by the way). Sun Dream Services manages the property and they were also great. Sven checked us in and was so friendly and accommodating, and Chad was so nice at checkout. Overall, I highly recommend this home. The Cape Coral area was beautiful, too. We rented a boat one day, went to a gator farm, Ft. Myers Beach and Captiva Island. Also recommend Rumrunners - great food! THANK YOU, PETE!

We always have a great time at this house. Pete and Steffi are outstanding host and extremely gracious. we just finished our fourth trip here to this house and have loved it each time! We're already thinking about when we want to book to come back next year. Mike

mittlerweile liegt unser zwei-wöchiger Aufenthalt bei euch schon einige Wochen zurück. Und was soll ich sagen, wir schwärmen heute noch jeden Tag über die Zeit, die wir in deinem Haus verbringen durften.
Wir waren bereits einige Male in Cape Coral, sind aber zum Glück letztes Jahr auf dein Haus gestoßen. Es ist von vorne bis hinten perfekt durchdacht.
Geschmackvoll eingerichtet, alle wichtigen Dinge vorhanden und der Blick von der Terrasse über den Pool auf den Kanal – unbezahlbar!

Wir hatten zwei wunderschöne Wochen und wollen unbedingt zurückkommen. Gerne schon nächstes Jahr.
Aber egal wann es sein wird, wir sind uns einig: Wenn Cape Coral, dann nur in eurer Villa!

Hervorheben möchte ich nochmal die absolut nette und entgegenkommende Kommunikation mit dir.
Auch auf eine kurzfristige Umbuchung bzw. Verschiebung unseres Reisezeitraums hast du vorbildlich reagiert und bist uns sogar noch mehr als zufriedenstellend entgegen gekommen. Vielen Dank dafür!

Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen, denn nach dem USA Urlaub ist vor dem USA Urlaub.

Siamo stati una settimana in Villa Egretta e già a partire dall’accoglienza, Steffi e Pete erano presenti, ci siamo sentiti a nostro agio. Ogni cosa funzionava perfettamente e la casa offre uno stile molto accogliente e soprattutto molto molto pulito (noi siamo molto pignoli in quanto a pulizia). Una settimana la nostra passata all’insegna di piscina, Whirlpool, biliardo, BBQ, relax più totale e splendidi tramonti che ci siamo goduti direttamente dalla piscina. La zona molto calma ci ha permesso di ricaricare le batterie e nostro figlio Tiago di 4 anni si è divertito un mondo. Ritorneremo molto presto, grazie ancora per tutto Steffi e Pete!!!

We highly recommend choosing Pete’s place for your vacation rental in the Cape Coral area! It is a beautiful home with such a peaceful and amazing view from the pool/lanai area! We appreciated the included amenities of a well stocked kitchen, a pool table, beach chairs, and games. Pete was a great and highly communicative host. He checked in with us during our stay to make sure all was well. His property manager team member, Chris, is a great guy as well. We did not need to reach out with any issues, but feel confident that they would have been resolved promptly if we had.

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in der Villa Egretta. Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern verlief reibungslos, wir fühlten uns sehr gut aufgehoben. Die Villa entspricht dem hohen schweizer Standart und ist demnach äusserst sauber und top ausgestattet. Alle Räme sind sehr grosszügig, haben viel Platz und sind super eingerichtet. Auch die Badezimmer lassen keine Wünsche offen. Die Lanai mit Pool lädt zum Verweilen ein und ist Dank der Überdeckung jederzeit Moskito-frei. Der Billard-Tisch ist ein Highlight.
Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen. :-)

We had an AMAZING & OUTSTANDING stay at Petes Airbnb! The infinite pool overlooking the water and boats is definitely an A+!! When you walk in thats the first thing you see thru the open floor plan and big sliding doors. Covid had us pretty afraid to travel or vacation, so this was our first outing since this whole pandemic began. The cleanliness was top notch! As a mom/wife I went thru the whole house before entering and disinfecting the home but was shocked at how clean everything actually already was. The master bed & bath was insanely relaxing, spacious & also overlooks the infinite pool and sunset! The shower is walk in and sooooo roomy! Closet space was also super comfortable. There was an ironing board, iron, washer & dryer! I mean it really was beyond beautiful and exactly what we needed for a total mental break! The neighborhood was also very calm and quiet. Working in the covered patio with fans running overhead, drinking coffee and enjoying Florida weather was breathtaking. Even the one day it rained all day felt amazing to sit outside. We also grilled and made foods at the house and everything was great! Location was also great! We went to some of the recommended sites nearby. Everyone was amazing. Kind vibes everywhere! From my initial email to Pete inquiring about his home until we left to come home,Pete and his Manager Sven were amazing to work with. Our family which consists of my husband and I, our 3 adult children, 2 spouses and a 9 month old grandson all stayed in the home with room to spare. Everything we needed - all bedding, towels (both bath and beach!), dishes, pots/pans - even a baby crib and high chair - you name it was all there. We went to the beach a few times but in all honesty were content to stay at the house. The pool was a perfect temperature for the hot August afternoons. The kids even discovered they loved fishing off the dock. The best though was watching the sunsets every night. One was prettier than the next. The house faces west so you get full view each night. The location is great too. Lots of nice restaurants in Cape Coral. And you’re less than an hour from Sanibel or the beaches in Bonita. We are definitely hoping to make this an annual family vacation. Great job Pete!

I completed my 38 th year of teaching and worked hard to save the money to take my entire family on a vacation. I researched over 100 location in the Cape Corral / Fort Meyer's area and finally decided on Pete's place. I want to let anyone who is reading this review to never rent from Pete because I am selfish and don't want anyone to discover our new paradise. My family shared memories of a life time espically with my first grandchild who just turned nine monts old. The communication, customer service, value, cleaness, and attention to detail where near perfect. The reason we can't wait to go back is because it allowed good old family time of playing board games, cards, cooking together, playing pool (the best table I have ever played on) swimming in a beautiful salt water pool with a great view. The layout of Pete's four bedroom home also gave us the needed privacy for my family members. I can't wait to come back to Pete's home with my family because Pete treated me and my family as an individual not just another $ to be made.
Pete, words can't express the memories my family had while at your home. I appreciate your professionalism and your home that is best described as a paradise. I work hard as a teacher and to save enough money to bring my family to Florida could not of happened if you did not work with me on the cost.
